How I got here!

I do not remember a time when I have been not interested in decorating or fashion. Early in my life I started noticing that I saw spaces and clothes differently than most people. Some would say I have an "eye" and a vision for spaces and wardrobes. I come by this naturally as my great grandmother, Pearl, opened her own furniture store in Texas in the early 50's. Her daughter, my grandmother, who we call Grandbette, majored in interior design at the University of Texas and continues with her passion to this day. It continued to trickle down to my mom, and now me.

As a little girl I remember always wanting to "re-arrange" or "re-do" my childhood room or go to the Gap ( it was the 90's!) because the seasons were changing and it was time to get new clothes.  Oh the excitement!
I would plan out the "basics" I needed for the season and
I would re-arrange my closet, organize and plan, plan, plan. Of course my mom had the final "say" on our shopping trips, as I was not paying for all of my “plans”.  But hey, a girl can dream!

Needles to say, my mind was always reeling and reeling with new ideas.
So here is a place where you will find my pictures, thoughts and ideas.
